Back 2 School

Well my second year of teaching has started. It has been really busy and full of things to do. I feel that I will never catch up with all of the paper work and information that I need to get done. Bryan and I are almost finished with our last big house project, the building of a home entertainment center with a projector (ceiling mounted) and a projection screen. I am ready for it to be finished and out together. I will definitely be putting final pictures of our masterpiece on here once we are finished. Other then that not a lot has been going on. I am looking forward to the holidays that are coming up. Not only for a break from work but also because that is when we get to spend time with the family.

Anniversary!!

Well Bryan and I have been married for one year now. We have a great night on the day of our anniversary. We decided to get each other the traditional gift of paper. I made a homemade card and Bryan wrote me a poem. We had dinner and finished the night off by eating some of our cake topper from the wedding, drinking champagne, and lighting our unity candle. This past year has been full of excitement. I am hoping that this next year is just as much fun, but has less life changing events. I love my husband very much and I am so lucky to be married to my best friend.

Summer of Visitors

Well the last set of visitors during this summer left today. I really wasn't looking forward to them leaving. Bryan and I still don't have that many friends yet here in San Antonio. We have had visitors from out of town for 5 of the last 6 weekends. I really have enjoyed my family, Bryan's family, and my friend Chancey coming to visit. I get a little lonely during the work week since I am a teacher with very little on my plate during the summer time. I have started scrapbooking our wedding pictures and working on some of the house.

I really love living in our new house. We moved in at the end of April. We are slowly getting settled in. We love the area that we live in. The views from every window in the house is amazing. We have a walking trail, playground, and a running track very close by. I have a feeling that it will not take us long to settle our roots here.

About Me

Our Pope Life began the day we got married on July 14th 2007. Bryan and I met in college at Texas Tech University our sophomore year (2002). We became friends long before we started dating on November 14th 2003. Bryan works as a software engineer at USAA and I am a math teacher at Kitty Hawk Middle School in San Antonio,TX. We are establishing our lives together one day at a time.
